2019 GACC Apprenticeship Award Recipient
(Vernon Hills, Illinois, US, November 19, 2019) Richard Wolf Medical Instruments Corporation is honored to have been named this year’s recipient of the GACC Apprenticeship Award. The German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest recognized us for pioneering a holistic approach to the development of apprentices that leads to well-rounded employees with transferable skills.
Our apprentices train within all of our manufacturing departments, giving co-workers and managers the opportunity to share their skills and experiences. This has developed a sense of community, partnership, and engagement in the success of the program and apprentices themselves.
In September, we were proud to announce the graduation of the first student in our apprenticeship program, with more graduates to follow soon. We look forward to seeing this program continue to shape the future of manufacturing at Richard Wolf.
