Dr. Alka Kumar is a globally recognized specialist in hysteroscopic surgery and reproductive medicine, with over 25 years of experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, research, and medical education. She serves as Director of the Women’s Health Centre (Hysteroscopic Surgery Division) in Jaipur and holds key leadership positions within the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), including Director (2026–2027) and Chair of the Hysteroscopy Special Interest Group. 

Her clinical and research work focuses on hysteroscopy, infertility, and endometrial pathology, with a strong emphasis on improving surgical safety and outcomes. Dr. Kumar is an innovator in the field, holding 11 international patents in fluid management systems for endoscopic surgery, which have contributed to advancements in procedural safety and efficiency. 

She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading journals such as Fertility & Sterility and the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and regularly contributes to academic textbooks. 

Dr. Kumar is an active international faculty member and keynote speaker, delivering advanced training and lectures at major congresses worldwide, with a focus on hysteroscopic techniques, infertility management, and emerging innovations in minimally invasive gynecology.
