Slim 7 mm resectoscope for minimal dilatation effort

The Princess is the thin resectoscope from Richard Wolf with an outer diameter of just 7 mm. It is used with the PANOVIEW telescope featuring 12° direction of view.
The benefits of small dimensions are particularly important. Transcervical insertion in particular has been considerably facilitated due to the significantly reduced volume, and tissue trauma has also been substantially reduced. Another benefit is simplified intraoperative handling in small uterine cavities. These small dimensions permit very fine and exact dissection. The intrauterine pressure can be kept particularly low due to the reduced space requirement. Less fluid consumption and loss are the result. The instrument with hybrid technology can be used for monopolar and bipolar application.

The option of an additional inner and outer sheath allows the instrument to be expanded to 8 mm in order to facilitate the use of a bigger loop if this is required. The two versions (7 mm and 8 mm) are available in a rotatable design.
The small size of the Princess Resectoscope makes it ideal for application in patients with a stenotic cervical canal and conditions relating to fertility and sterility.

  • Slim 7 mm / 21 Fr. Resectoscope with continuous irrigation, optionally expandable to 8 mm
  • Hybrid technology for monopolar and bipolar applications with the same basic instrument
  • E-line quick-action lock
  • PANOVIEW telescope 2.7 mm, direction of view 12°
  • Reduced dilatation effort
  • Significantly less resistance during insertion
  • Considerably less trauma to the cervical canal

The new bipolar "BIVAP" vaporization electrode is ideal for endometrium ablation and treatment of myomas. The 7 mm Princess System is also impressive in this role due to the significantly reduced space requirement.

Bipolar Vaporization Electrode "BIVAP"
A special shape of electrode was developed for bipolar vaporization technology. The specific geometry of the electrode surface means that the high-energy plasma can be used in concentrated form for fast and effective tissue vaporization with minimal loss of blood.
