The urology department at the Hamburg-Barmbek Asklepios Hospital is well established in northern Germany and specializes in areas including the diagnosis and treatment of bladder tumors. Professor Andreas Gross is Chief Physician in the urology department and has many years of experience in this field. In addition to being a member of numerous national and international learned medical societies, he is also widely published. Professor Gross employs state-of-the-art equipment such as photodynamic diagnostics (PDD) with Hexvix© in the diagnosis and transurethral resection of bladder carcinomas. His expertise and the large number of procedures he has performed set him apart as a renowned expert.
