Endobronchial Shaver Blades

Precise and selective removal

Work in interventional bronchoscopy is carried out in conditions with very narrow lumens. This is therefore an area where every usable centimeter is helpful. Exophytic tumors often close off the main bronchi. If patients present with this kind of clinical picture, an experienced bronchoscopist is capable of carrying out tissue ablation.
Alongside the existing methods applied for endobronchial ablation, these resections can be carried out effortlessly with the new shaver blades.

Endobronchial Shaver Blades are different versions of rotary blades, which are connected to the Micro Stick S1 handle. The suction device integrated in the handle sucks up the tissue to be ablated at the distal end of the blade and this tissue is then removed when the PowerDrive Generator is activated.

The other highlight is provided by the "Remover". This works rather like a "conveyor belt" and it allows viscous secretions to be easily removed.

The complete set is rounded off by a bipolar suction device for coagulation. The Shaver Blades, the Remover and the bipolar suction device have been specially designed around our TEXAS Bronchoscope. Naturally, these components can also be used with conventional rigid bronchoscopes.

  • Extra sharp cutting surfaces, serrated or smooth
  • Curved upward at the distal end – for a better view of the shaver tip in the endoscopic image
  • Rotatable by 360°
  • Special coating for the inner blade which improves smooth-running
  • World innovation in the form of the Secretion Remover for removing thick, viscous secretions or coagulated blood
  • Bipolar suction device – simultaneous suction and coagulation
  • CO2 channel for the tracheoscope tubes
  • Low weight for the shaver handle
  • Time-saving, precise removal
