News from Asia The Endo-UrologyWorkshop on "Retrograde Internal Surgery" subject was performed in Prima Vista Middle East, Dubai, on November 13 and 14. The respected participants from the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan and Germany enjoyed the expertise and the knowledge of our skillful instructor Dr. Christoph Lang – Urologist from "Knappschafts Hospital" in Sulzbach, Germany. Endourological Stone Treatment The event initiated with the lectures on update on "Endo­ urological Stone Treatment" – "Indication & Techniques of a Modern Flexible Ureterorenoscopy" followed by hands-on sessions using our Ureterorenoscopes COBRA and BOA vision, simulator and MegaPulse Laser. Suitable premises to conduct training courses The valuable statement given by Dr. Lang on this course is: "Prima Vista Middle East are suitable premises to con- duct training courses which allow the participants to obtain a maximum information about scholarly attitude but also exchange of experiences in an open dialog with expert user. It leads to direct contact with the users and enables assistance directly on the hands-on operating table. It is particularly advantageous for the participants to have the possibility to take the instruments by their own hands, acquire knowledge about preparation and application by themselves. By using the dummies every participant could receive first impressions and experiences in handling and management of simulated operation situations. Highlight for all attendees was the use of laser. With different settings they could prove the effect on the tested stone." We received an excellent feedback and look forward to the next training this year.
