Innovations Held in September 2018, the annual congress of the German Society of Urology (DGU) in Dresden served as the platform for the official market launch of Richard Wolf‘s new FLUID CONTROL 2225 suction and irrigation pump. This new product replaces previous pump models designed for urology or gynecology applications, delivering outstan- ding added benefits to users in the form of its flexibility, performance, and safety. Flexible in use The new FLUID CONTROL 2225 is the ideal choice for inter- disciplinary practice in gynecology, urology, and surgery – without the additional burden of costly license fees. Users also have the option of selecting individual instrument presets within each specialist discipline in order to achieve maximum irrigation performance and perfect viewing conditions as a result – even when endoscopes from other manufacturers are being used. High performance Unparalleled irrigation capacity and perfect suction are important factors in any procedure. The FLUID CONTROL 2225 achieves these by delivering an irrigation capacity of up to 1,800 ml/min and a suction capacity of 2,000 ml/min, with conditions made to suit each specific discipline and proce- dure. And with an irrigation performance that is some 60 % improved, it outshines its predecessor urology and gyneco- logy pump systems. FLUID CONTROL 2225 – One pump. Three disciplines. No license fees.
