Rhinoscopy
Rhinoscopy is a method often used in the diagnosis and therapy of small animals suffering from chronic disorders on one or on both sides, caused by infections, foreign bodies, fungi and tumors. In this field both flexible and rigid endoscopes are used. For rostral rhinoscopy, in addition to the Universal Telecope, 2.4 mm, or PANOVIEW Telecope, 2.7 mm the Compact Endoscope by Grussendorf is available. In conjunction with video documentation the treatment can be checked, stored in the patient file and therefore also displayed for the animal owner when establishing a diagnosis.  Compact Endoscope by GrußendorfRichard Wolf GmbH is offering a new Compact Endoscope. This Compact Endoscope can be used for diagnostics and therapy in various fields of use. In rhinoscopy the atraumatic distal end allows gentle passage even in a cat's nose. As a result of the compact system it is not possible to connect additional sheaths to also use the instrument in tracheoscopy, vaginoscopy or cystoscopy. for small animals. The instrument has a large outside diameter of 3.5 mm and is equipped with 2 irrigation channels plus a large instrument channel of 1.65 mm for the use of flexible biopsy and grasping forceps. The oval irrigation and probe channels allow efficient irrigation. The Compact Endoscope's direction of view is 25° and its working length 160 mm. |
