Laparoscopic methods can also be used for cattles, but with limited indications only. The main focus is the laparoscopic reposition and fixation of displaced abomasum in cattle. The laparoscopy offers more diagnostic possibilities of abdominal cavity and enables a minimally invasive surgical treatment which contributes to a faster convalescence of the patients.

A further indication are teat diseases. Diagnosis and therapy can also be done endoscopically and minimally-invasively here.
