Pipes and Tubes

Check for:

• Deposits
• Coating defects
• Corrosion
• Surface defects
• Weld defects (axial seams, radial seams)

Inspection equipment:

Either flexible endoscopes (less expensive and easier to manoeuvre in tight bends) or videoscopes (higher resolutions, ideally suited for documentation) are nearly exclusively used for this purpose. We recommend products sheathed with a metal wire braid to withstand the loads in metallic tubes. For the inspection of hoses having delicate surfaces, however, plastic jackets are the better choice.
